More actors have announced that they will voice characters on Fox/Blue Sky's upcoming animated flick Horton Hears a Who.
(Source: www.variety.com) Bring on the Whos! A whole bunch of actors have signed on to voice characters in Fox/Blue Sky Studio's upcoming adaptation of Dr. Seuss' classic children's tale, Horton Hears a Who. Comic legend Carol Burnett, Seth Rogen (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Will Arnett (Arrested Development), Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Dan Fogler (School for Scoundrels), SNL veteran Amy Poehler, Dane Cook (Employee of the Month), My Name is Earl's Jaime Pressly and Jonah Hill (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) will join Jim Carrey and Steve Carell in voicing characters from the movie. Carrey will play the title role of Horton while Carell voices the Mayor of Whoville. Burnett will play Sourpuss Jane Kangaroo who mercilessly torments Horton. Horton Hears a Who is projected for a 2008 release. Fun Fact: Many pro-life groups have adopted the phrase from Horton Hears a Who, "A person's a person, no matter how small," as a rallying cry. This incurred the wrath of Audrey Geisel, Dr. Seuss' widow, who filed a lawsuit in Canada in 2001 over one group's use of the phrase.
