"Low key" seems to be the watchword for Disney's promotion of their latest animated flick Meet the Robinsons. While there are the usual movie posters plastered on cinema walls, bus shelters, etc. this flick doesn't seem to be getting the major push that the Mouse House usually gives their animated movies - Cars, for example. Could Disney be downgrading the priority of their CGI animation movies?
Certainly The Wild, Chicken Little and Home on the Range weren't the blockbusters that the Mouse House was hoping for, and CGI films are certainly less of a priority now that Pixar is a part of the Disney empire.
It's not like Disney is setting Meet the Robinsons up for failure but it's clear that they're not as excited about Meet the Robinsons as they are about their other product.
Be that as it may, the good (drunken) folks at Joblo got 13 stills from this flick, which you can check out over here. From what I've seen, Meet the Robinsons is certainly looking good and I'm willing to give it a shot when it hits theatres (March 30th, if you didn't know already).
Fun Fact: Director Stephen J. Anderson has a personal connection to Meet the Robinsons as he (like the main character) is adopted.
